WHAT: Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area is holding a special one day collection of household  items

WHERE:   St. Joan of Arc parking lot at 359 West Areba Ave, Hershey

WHEN: Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 9 to 11 AM

ITEMS: Items to be collected include large and small appliances, furniture, cabinets, building materials, tools, hardware, light fixtures, and home décor items.  

All items must be in working order and in usable condition.  

Examples of items NOT collected include clothing, shoes and drapes, mattresses/box springs, faucets, used anti-freeze and motor oil, unframed glass, carpet, wood with nails, paint, televisions, water heaters and dishwashers.

BENEFIT: This event is a good opportunity to get rid of unwanted items for a good cause and receive a receipt for tax purposes.  All items collected will be sold at Habitat’s ReStore located at 800 Paxton St. in Harrisburg and will benefit Habitat’s activities to promote safe, decent and affordable housing for lower income persons and families.  Questions regarding this event may be directed to Chuck Gassert at 717-566-5058.
